The World Championship Trophies

This week the teams are obviously racing for the International Six Metre World Championship Trophy, but in addition there are several other very prestigious trophies up for grabs.  The trophies and teams challenging for them are:

The Djinn Trophy for the first placed boat in the Classic Division.

The KSSS Trophy for the first placed boat built to the First (1907-1919) or Second (1919-1933) International Rule.  The boats racing for this trophy are:
Abu (1931)
Bob Kat II (1931)
Carmella (1924)
Lucie (1931)
Nada (1930)
Nancy (1932)
Normand III (1928)
Valdai (1930)

The Nelson Trophy for the first placed boat constructed between 1966 and 1978 inclusive, and which has had no alteration to its underwater shape other than permitted modifications to the rudder.  The boats racing for this trophy are:
Irene (1977)
Warhorse (1978)

The Baum and König Vintage Trophy to the highest placed Classic yacht which uses white or cream sails, wooden mast, boom and poles and flies a racing flag.  Those qualifying for this trophy will not confirmed until the final day of racing as the boats daily racing state can effect their eligibility.  A classic example of a yacht that we expect will qualify is Lucie.
